The book I read over summer vacation was, Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Even though I have read Twilight before, I always like to re-read my favorite books. Personally I think Stephanie Meyer's is a fantastic author. She has a really creative
imagination. Twilight is such an interesting story. In the following paragraph, I am going to explain some of the character changes that happens throughout the story.
One of the main character in the book is Bella. Bella changes from quiet to really opening up and becoming adventurous. For example, in the beginning of the book when Bella went to go live with her dad, she rarely spoke to her dad even when
she went to school she wouldn't speak to anyone. Then later on in the story Bella started to make some friends that's when Bella started to open up a little. Bella started to really open up and become more adventurous with a boy name Edward. For example, Bella started to travel with Edward to the forest and exploring new things. Those were examples of character change in Bella.
Another main character in the book Twilight is Edward. Edward change from being weird and suspicious to open .For example, in the beginning of the book Edward was creepy. He would stare at Bella for a really long time. This was before
he knew Bella. When he sat next to Bella in biology class, he would sit at the edge of his seat and he would be at the corner of the table looking mysteriously at his fellow class mates. As a result of Edward meeting Bella he started to loosen up and became less mysterious. Edward began to show various emotions. Some ways he began expressing and showing his emotions is by smiling, laughing, and interacting with other people. He stopped starring at people suspiciously but rather became very friendly. Those were examples of character changes in the book Twilight. I really recommend you to read this book if you haven't yet.
In conclusion, Bella and Edward both change from the beginning to the end the book. I really recommend you to read this book if you haven't yet, it's a really interesting story and series.
I seriously thought that twilight was going to be boring (partly because I already saw the movie, and partly because everyone told me so) but your Character Change reading response made me want to read it now. Thanks for the recommendation! I like how instead of focusing on one character's character change, you focused on two characters. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI've actually never read any books in the twilight series, but it seems interesting now. I liked how you wrote about all the different traits, and things each character does. I also liked how you gave a back story on Bella's life a bit. Really good character response.
